Media & Speaking

Will you speak at my conference/event/institution?

Possibly! I’m selective about speaking engagements, but I’m interested in opportunities that align with my research and advocacy work. Please send me details about your event, audience, and what you’d like me to discuss.

Are you available for media commentary?

Yes! As a sociology academic specialising in inclusion and sexuality research, sex work decriminalisation, and decolonising approaches to sex and sexuality, I’m available for expert commentary and interviews. Contact me with your publication details and deadline.

Can I interview you about your research?

Absolutely! I’m happy to discuss my work on autism and kink/sexuality, sex work decriminalisation, or decolonial approaches to sex for academic publications, podcasts, documentaries, and reputable media outlets. Email me with your project details.

Academic Collaboration

Can we collaborate on research?

Maybe! I’m open to collaborations that align with my expertise in autism, sexuality, kink studies, sex work policy, and decolonial frameworks. Send me a proposal outlining the project scope and timeline.

Will you guest lecture for my course?

Possibly! I consider guest lecture invitations on a case-by-case basis, particularly for topics related to my research areas. Please include details about your institution, course, and proposed topic.

Writing & Content

Can I commission you to write something?

Absolutely! Email me with your requirements for a no-obligation quote. I’m also well connected in the academic, sex tech and sex writing communities, so if you need something outside my expertise, I can probably recommend someone suitable.

Will you write something for me for free?

No. This is my job and I do not work for exposure, free products, nebulous promises of possible future work, or anything else that is not money.

Can I reprint your work on my blog/website/publication?

Maybe! It depends on the site and usage. You’ll need to pay for commercial use of my work. Email me with details for a quote.

Can I quote something you wrote/said/tweeted?

Yes! With credit and a link back to the relevant page or post, quoting a few lines is fine. Using more than a paragraph or so will require express permission and, if it’s for commercial purposes, payment.

About My Work

I’m a sociology academic at a well-known Australian university (since 2022), and my current research explores the intersections of autism, kink, and sexuality, as well as the decriminalisation of sex work and decolonising approaches to sex and sexuality. I’m also an alumni of Sex Tech School. I bring together academic rigour, technological literacy, and lived experience to discussions of neurodivergence, sexual identity and sex worker rights.

My work centres justice, liberation, and the dismantling of colonial frameworks that have shaped western understandings of identity, sexuality and desire.
