I’ve been doing this work for a while now & for most of that time, I’ve held my rates steady, or in real terms, watched them quietly decrease! This was in service of something I believed in; accessibility.
The logic made sense to me. BDSM & professional domination already exist in a landscape where class & money dictate access in ways I find uncomfortable. I didn’t want to price people out of something genuinely transformative just because they weren’t wealthy.
Unfortunately, what I didn’t fully reckon with is that holding the line while inflation moves became a slow rate cut. By the time a few of my regulars started exclaiming how much ‘value’ I provide, especially in comparison to a lot of newbies I thought ‘um yeah, I should do something about this!’ Some of them paying above rate voluntarily because they’d noticed. Thank you to those who were generous & gave extra tribute for my time & efforts! I then had to sit with the fact that I’d spent years undercharging while framing it as a values position.
So! Enough justification!
What’s changing
From July 1st, 2026, my rates are increasing by approximately 15% across virtual & in-person services. This brings them roughly in line with where they would have been had I applied modest annual CPI adjustments instead of absorbing the gap myself.
Your lock-in window!
If you pay a deposit before June 30th, you’ll receive my current rates. This is for any session, bundle, or arrangement, regardless of when it’s scheduled.
This is a genuine window for clients who’ve been sitting on a booking decision, or who want to secure something ongoing before the change takes effect!
On accessibility going forward
I’m not abandoning the value that drove the old pricing. My loyalty program, bundle structures, & the way I approach long-term client relationships all reflect the same ethos. I genuinely want to reward people who show up with consistency & respect, & I ALSO want the work to remain reachable for the right people!
However, what I’m no longer willing to do is frame undercharging as generosity.
My rates are going up because the work has always been worth it. It just took me a minute & some honest feedback from people who paid attention to say so clearly, including ‘the world has changed a lot since the last time you changed your rates’.
