Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to update you on the status of NeuroKink Academy and the delay in its launch.
While I originally planned to release the course in February, there have been a few unexpected and SUDDEN developments that have shifted my timeline. Instead of just pushing forward without acknowledging the changes, I think it’s important to share with you why things are taking a bit longer and what’s happening behind the scenes.
As you may know, my journey with NeuroKink is deeply personal. As a neurodivergent creator, I value the balance between quality, authenticity, and my ability to manage everything I have on my plate. The reality is that, like many of us, life has its own way of throwing curveballs, and recently, a few things have popped up that I need to manage before I can give NeuroKink Academy the focus it deserves.
First, my academic supervisor/unit coordinator (for my vanilla job) is currently unwell and on leave for the first month of the academic semester due to health complications. This means that I’m stepping into their role to ensure the unit continues smoothly in their absence. It’s a big responsibility, they’ve been running the unit for 20 years! Especially since I’m balancing this with my own work, but it’s important to me that my students still get the support they need. As you can imagine, taking on this additional role has meant adjusting my priorities and focus, so I’ve had to put some things on pause, including the final preparations for NeuroKink Academy.
On top of that, I’ve had some personal challenges; my autistic child’s been unwell, which always takes priority in my life, especially as a solo parent.
I’ve also just wrapped up my Sydney tour, which, while exciting, also required a significant amount of my attention and energy. All these moving parts meant that I had to reassess my timeline for the launch of the course.
After some testing and reflection on the feedback I’ve received, I’ve decided to make a few changes to the course content. This includes rethinking some of the structures, such as whether discovery calls should be mandatory or optional.
These adjustments will make the course a more seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone, but it does mean the launch will be delayed.
I want to emphasise that the content itself is ready; I’ve put a lot of work into creating something that I believe will truly benefit those who engage with it.
However, facilitating the course and managing sign-ups alongside my academic responsibilities and other commitments just isn’t something I can fully take on at the moment as initially planned.
So, while I won’t be giving a specific launch date right now, I do want to express my gratitude for your patience and understanding during this time. I’ll continue to provide updates, and I’ll share more details as soon as I have everything locked in.
Thank you so much for your continued support. I truly appreciate everyone who’s been following along with the journey of NeuroKink Academy. I can’t wait to bring this to life for you, and I’m confident that when it does launch, it will be worth the wait!
Stay tuned…
Miss Paz Bizarre
