Hello devotees

My main Twitter/X account has been suspended, again. I think in my career to be fair it has not been as many times as other providers I know of! Maybe 5 or 6. Not bad over my 20+ years in the Adult Industry. 

I’ve been deplatformed twice on Patreon, three times on YouTube (one was purely for sexology coaching—no kink content at all), multiple times on Instagram, and so many other platforms I’ve lost count.

I’ve dealt with stigma from banks when I applied for a home loan in my 20s and I’ve had multiple payment processors reject me. I’ve watched “civilian” platforms I depended on suddenly decide sex workers aren’t welcome.

I’ve been doing this work since I was 18 and I’m resilient as fuck.

The platforms that ban you were never built for you anyway.

I stopped waiting for permission. Those of you who have been here a while since I returned from Scotland, saw me get kicked off Twitter and stay off until 2023. I built my own infrastructure and own my website. I control my mailing list, and I’ve structured my practice so that no one single platform can collapse my business.

Twitter suspending me is annoying, sure, but it’s not devastating. I learned a long time ago that survival in this industry means building systems that don’t depend on anyone or anything, and to be ready to pivot!

I appealed to X, they rejected it and let’s face it, I’m resilient and building! I’m not sitting around waiting to see if they’ll reverse course.

Platforms are temporary, but the work isn’t.

The issue with relying on ‘rented land’ is that X or what I still like to call, Twitter, was never mine. None of these platforms are. We build audiences on rented ‘land’, and the landlord can evict us whenever they want, with no notice, no explanation, no recourse.

Sex workers know this better than most and post covid we’ve been watching platforms tighten restrictions for years; Tumblr, Instagram shadowbans, OnlyFans’ brief panic, Patreon’s vague guidelines, Reddit’s ban waves (RIP BackPage, miss it). Twitter held out longer than most, but it was never safe, it was just tolerated until it wasn’t.

Here’s what *actually* sucks to me personally. I wish I could use vanilla, civilian platforms!  I mourned the loss of Mailchimp more than I’m mourning Twitter.

When Mailchimp unceremoniously booted me off, I lost access to professional email marketing tools like automation, analytics, beautiful templates, integrations that just work and DON’T GET SENT STRAIGHT TO SPAM, AAAAAAA. I had to cobble together workarounds with platforms that tolerate us but aren’t built for what I need. That hurt and that was a real loss of infrastructure! Now I just manually send because it is easier after many pivots, integrations and failures.

Twitter? Twitter was just attention-seeking slaves and faux findommes, are you kidding me? It was mostly a place to connect with peers. I can meet them offline. Ultimately, it was a feed I had to check and a place where engagement was unpredictable and increasingly hostile as well as increasingly oversaturated. However, losing Mailchimp meant losing professional tools that actually helped me run my business. Losing Twitter just means one less app to scroll. *Im secretly happy*

So when people tell me “what happened to the platform,” I don’t really agree. The platform was always hostile to sex workers! 

A lot of people have told me to keep appealing. To fight for my Twitter account! To not let them win!

To that I say; None of those people are my clients.

They’re the ones who watched for free. Who scrolled, liked, downloaded my pics, maybe retweeted; but never actually supported my work. Not once.

If you’re a “real fan,” , a real devotee of Paz Bizarre, the bare minimum is a tribute. Mummy Paz will tell you, she gets tributes for less. If you’ve been consuming my content without ever spending a dollar, you don’t get to tell me how to run my business or where to invest my energy.

My actual clients know where I am and they’re on my mailing list. They follow me on Bluesky or they book sessions, online/offline/ or however they can contribute.

Everyone else was just window shopping, trying to get their little dopamine hits.

Twitter’s ROI has been declining for years.

I’ve spent the last few years building infrastructure that I actually control:

• My website (this one! No algorithm, yay!, no moderation, just my content)
• My mailing list (direct contact, no intermediary, can’t be deplatformed, even if I can’t use the fancy tools)
• Bluesky (for now, at least it’s not actively hostile to sex workers)

Twitter was useful for visibility and quick updates, but it wasn’t essential. The clients who book with me don’t find me through viral tweets? They find me through intentional search, word of mouth, and platforms designed for this work (like Scarlet Blue).

The followers who matter will follow me elsewhere and the ones who don’t weren’t converting anyway.

I’ve been deplatformed before and I’ll probably be deplatformed again! Sex workers always are, it tells me I’m doing something right! The ones who survive aren’t the ones with the biggest social media followings; they’re the ones who built systems and client rapport that don’t depend on any single platform’s approval. For me, relationships, real-life ones, trump everything else.

A Final Thought

If you’ve read this far and you’ve been consuming my content without ever supporting the work, whether that’s me or any other sex worker, think about how you actually support your favourite providers.

Likes are free. Retweets are free. Scrolling is free. But content creation, maintaining a website, building a mailing list, writing these posts, managing bookings, dealing with deplatforming; none of that is free.

If you value the work, show it!

• Tribute. Even small amounts matter.
• Subscribe to mailing lists (we need direct contact when platforms fail).
• Book sessions (if you’re in a position to).
• Share our work in spaces where it’s actually seen by potential clients.
• Engage meaningfully; not just with content that arouses you, but with the infrastructure that keeps us visible.

Sex workers are constantly told our work has no value, and face stigma. We’re deplatformed, shadowbanned, payment-processed out of existence, and then in 2025, ALSO expected to keep producing content for free.

So if you’re genuinely a fan/ devotee/ submissive? Act like it. Support the people whose work you consume, not just when it’s convenient,  you’re bored or you’re horny, but especially when platforms try to erase us.

That’s how we survive.
